Again I stumbled about this wonderful fabric and I had to make something of it. This is what it turned out to be.

I love the gown but I got too many for myself so I'll sell it. And anyway, I was told I got only red gowns for medieval and it's time for a change.

The gowns fitted to the waist and got back lacing. The sleeves are double with tight undersleeves and wide bellshaped oversleeves which are open at the top. The skirt is very wide at the bottom and will fit over a hooped petticoat.
The light brown fabric a jaquard with a nice pattern. The insets and the bodice lining is pure cotton in offwhite. The border is made of something like linen, shot with gold.
