Description
Finally I got some pictures of this one. It's Arwen's dreamgown (as you can tell by the title). I made it for a customer and she loves it. Almost as much as her boyfriend does each time she's wearing it.
I used chiffon in a light pink. It's two layers each side. There are actuelle side seams to keep the shape. The shoulders are barely sewn together. There's a zipper on the left side seam to get inside.
My customer wanted a shift to wear underneath, so I added one in a matching satin.
You can barely make it out by the picture but there's silver embroidery alond the front part of the neckline. (done by hand)

Beautiful!!!! I love this gown - I have the fabric to make it but I haven't gotten to it yet. What type of pattern did you use? Or, if you made up a pattern, do you have maybe a general description of it? Just curious, as a fellow costumer Great job, it could easily be mistaken for the actual gown in the film!!!!
