Musketeer Doublet in brown leather by Gewandfantasien
Musketeer Doublet in brown leather
This is a set of a renaissance doublet or jacket made from brown leather and a white linen shirt in matching style.

The leather jacket is done in renaissance style and would be perfect for a fighting man. Maybe a musketeer or even a renaissance pirate. It will not look out of place at a renfair. And it will make a big impression worn at a renaissance or tudor style wedding by the groom.

The leather doublet has little details that make it special like the shoulder padding and the detachable sleeves. The leather is soft to wear but sturdy enough to last for along time. The whole doublet is lined with white linen. It closes with silver metal buttons.

The shirt is in a corresponding fashion with a big collar and moderate sleeve ruffles. The cut is wide and loose. The front opening is closed with one button (mother of pearl).

SIZE:
The whole outfit will fit for sizes XL-XXXL.
Maximum measurements are:
Chest: 140cm / 55 inch
Waist: 150 cm / 59 inch
neck: 56cm / 22 inch
back length: 59cm / 23 1/4 inch
front length: 65cm / 25.5 inch

Arwen Cranberry Dress by Gewandfantasien
Arwen Cranberry Dress
Some while ago I made an Arwen Cranberry dress.
I finally got some beautiful pictures of this dress to share.

This dress is still up for sale. You can buy it on etsy (www.etsy.com/listing/211967801…) or just contact me here. The dress will best fit an M (Model is XS-S) and costs 499 EUR plus shipping.

Arwen's Cranberry dress is made of a soft, dark red plushy stretch velvet. The fabric makes for a great drape and gives the whole dress a subtle sheen. The sleeves are narrow at the upper arm and widen to the typical Elven style of the movie. They have to be draped on the arm. The dress is one part (unlike the Requiem Gown or Coronation Gown) and fitted to the waist. And it has that gorgeous long train Arwen's original dress has. Due to the stretch in the fabric this dress does not need a back closure.

The neckline trim and the one around the sleeves are completly made by myself. I used machine embroidery with a silver yarn on dark red satin as foundation and accented that with small glass beads in clear, frosted white, silver and dark red, macking for over 700 handsewn beads in total. I added some silver sequins, too. The whole neckline is finished by hand, adding clear glass beads all around the top seam and a silver cord at the bottom of the trim.
The sleeves again are silver machine embroidery with added beads. This one is finished with two rows of silver gimp and one row of silver bugles and glass beads again in between.

Basically, there's not much to tell about myself. I'm from northern Germany, I got two wonderful cats and work part time as a secretary.
I love fantasy, I do roleplay, I adore beautiful gowns and I earn part of my living by sewing them and making other stuff.
Now, here comes a little advertising: If you want a gown costum-made, don't hesitate to contact me. Or take a look at my website and get inspired. You can buy my gowns at etsy, too: www.etsy.com/shop/Aricia
In case you are a model or photographer and want to make pictures with my gowns, please contact me, too. We can work something out for sure.

I'd like to thank all the wonderful people here for their support. You keep me going when times are hard!
I try to thank your for every :+fav: but sometimes I'm too busy. But they are nevertheless highly appreciated.
